TechNet South 2012: New ISR capabilities mandate new tactics
While the focus of this week’s TechNet Land Forces – South event was on land forces, the ubiquitous joint nature of all modern military operations was also reflected by a number of conference speakers.
Speaking on the topic of ‘Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Challenges in a Changing Environment,’ for example, Maj Gen (Select) Michael Kingsley, USAF, highlighted that command’s need to develop new ISR processes to reflect the rapid expansion of ISR capabilities fielded to AFSOC units.
