SOFEX 2012: KADDB and L-3 sign partnering agreement

The King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) has signed a partnering agreement with L-3 Wescam signalling a gateway into the Middle-East market, it has been announced.

Signed at the Special Operations Forces Exhbition (SOFEX) on 9 May, KADDB and L-3 Wescam agreed to launch a Wescam Authorised Service Centre (WASC) capable of performing up to 75% of all repairs to the company’s family of electro-optical payloads.

The service centre will be located at the King Abdullah Airbase in Jordan.
