RELM Wireless receives KNG P25 order
RELM Wireless has been awarded an order for the KNG P25 trunked portable VHF radios and accessories by the US military, the company announced on 26 January.
The total value of the order is estimated at $1 million. The radio and the accessories included in the order will be deployed internationally. The company is expected to complete deliveries by the first quarter of 2016.
David Storey, president and chief executive officer, Relm Wireless, said: 'We are very pleased to announce an order from a new US military customer.
'This order is encouraging in several respects. Not only is the order from a first-time customer, it will be deployed internationally; further expanding our footprint and addressable market. With a growing reputation, we believe RELM is well positioned to replicating orders such as this with more new military and public safety customers.'
