Raytheon received a $114 million contract in December to provide integration and production support for the AN/SPY-6(V) air and missile defence radar.

The contract also includes options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the contract to $357 million.

The contract, awarded by Naval Sea Systems Command, will see Raytheon provide integration and production support for continued combat system integration and test, engineering, training, software and depot maintenance, and field engineering services, as well as the procurement of spare parts.

Work is expected to be complete by December 2019.

AN/SPY-6(V) is the US Navy's next generation integrated air and missile defence radar. It provides the navy with protection against air, surface and ballistic missile threats.
