The UK Air Force has significantly advanced its satellite intelligence capabilities with the successful launch of the Carbonite-2 satellite terminal.

Providing the service with detailed imagery and 3D colour video footage, the demonstrator satellite, developed by Surrey Satellite Technology (SSTL), a subsidiary of Aribus Space and Defence, received recent investment from the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD).
