New software for UK counter-terrorism ops
Intelligent Software Solutions (ISS) has unveiled plans to connect UK counter-terrorism C4ISR solutions that would allow police and military units to share information in order to prevent attacks.
The company’s ‘Dfuze’ software is currently being used by the Metropolitan Police’s Counter-Terrorism Command or ‘SO15’ and funding has now been agreed to place it within the national Counter-Terrorism Network for the UK over seven regional offices.
‘It will basically connect up counter-terrorism and counter-terrorism reporting across the UK in a way that they have never been connected before,’ Neil Fretwell, operations director at ISS Global, told Shephard
