LIMA 2017: China promoting new radar

The Beijing-based China Shipbuilding and Offshore International Company (CSOC) promoted a new planar array antenna radar at this year's LIMA 2017 exhibition.

The SR2410C 3-D multifunctional radar on display at the CSOC booth was an S-band short-to-medium-range antenna that can be outfitted on a ship or large truck.

The radar on display did not actually match the photograph in the CSOC brochure, raising questions about whether it is actually an old radar under a new designation. CSOC would not comment on its origins.
