Farnborough 2016: Giving the F-35 its spark (video)

Undoubtedly one of the stars of the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow (FIA 2016) is the next-generation F-35 Lightning, which has finally made its appearance at the show.

During the week, suppliers on the programme have been emphasising their involvement, not least Raytheon, a company that is supplying a host of precision weapon systems for the fifth-generation aircraft.

Shephard spoke with Mike Jarrett, Raytheon's vice president of air warfare systems, at FIA 2016 about the integration of Raytheon weapons on the aircraft.
