Farnborough 2016: Application integration as easy as INCT

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has introduced the Integrated Network Centric Terminal (INCT), an avionics system upgrade, as a global application at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA 2016).

Benjamin Cohen, general manager of IAI's Lahav division, explained to Shephard that INCT is a quasi-command control system which is based on an open systems architecture.

‘What we have understood is most of the operators [prefer] INCT to be in open architecture because in every country there are different applications. So because we have made it open people can do whatever they want,’ Cohen said.
