Farnborough 2012: Boeing Defense concentrates on cyber

The CEO of Boeing Defense Space and Security has revealed that the division is concentrating its efforts on the development of C4ISR technology.

Following the creation of its Boeing Cyber Engagement Center in Washington, DC, which opened in September last year, 'customers can see a real cyber environment', Dennis Muilenburg, explained to a pre-Farnborough media briefing in Washington, DC on 18 June.

'We see cyber as one of our very important growth areas – unmanned, C4ISR and cyber are very important to our future, and the centre is one of the investments we've made.'
