Farnborough 2012: BAE Systems advances LiteHUD

BAE Systems is developing a new fast jet heads up display (HUD), which it claims will be the smallest and lowest profile, fully-capable HUD yet developed.

Designed to fit behind and above fast jet large area displays, the LiteHUD takes advantage of advances in LED and waveguide technologies to significantly reduce the size of the entire system.

Speaking at a media briefing in Rochester in the UK, BAE Systems representatives demonstrated the performance of the LiteHUD and its ‘large eye motion box’.
