Eurosatory 2012: Thales plugs battlefield communication gaps

Thales is enhancing its battlefield communication solutions at the tactical level with the introduction of a transverse waveform capability called GeoMux, allowing warfighters at every level of the force to stay connected on the move.

The waveform will equip all PR4G F@stnet radio models, including handheld, manpack and vehicles.

‘We now have the communications to cover every level of the battlefield, from brigade level right down to the dismounted soldier,’ a Thales spokesperson told Shephard.
