Early observations indicate significant waveform performance improvements
Anecdotal reports from recent integration and test activities being conducted at White Sands Missile Range seem to indicate significant improvements in waveform performance on the latest engineering development models (EDMs) of the Joint Tactical Radio System Ground Mobile Radio (GMR).
The four channel radio is currently configured with one channel of Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW), one channel of Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW), and two channels of SINCGARS (voice).
