DSEI 2013: Q-Warrior leads BAE charge

BAE Systems has launched the newest variant of its see-through helmet mounted display (HMD), the Q-Warrior for dismounted soldiers.

Leading on from its LiteHUD and Q-Sight systems for aircraft and land vehicles respectively, the Q-Warrior utilises Waveguide optical technology that stabilises the image for the user and reduces the SWaP of the system, Chris Colston, business development director, advanced displays and inceptors – communications and control solutions, told a media briefing at the DSEI exhibition on 10 September.
