Comtech to sustain SNAP terminals
Comtech Telecommunications’ Command and Control Technologies will continue providing sustainment services for the US Army's AN/TSC-198A SNAP and very small aperture terminals, the company announced on 2 May.
The company has received additional funding of $4.8 million from the army on a previously announced three-year $124.2 million contract. To date, the company has received $50.6 million funding under this contract.
SNAP terminals provide mobile satellite communications capabilities for the transmission of encrypted voice, video and data in the field.
