Comtech receives additional funding from US Army
Comtech Telecommunications’ Command and Control Technologies will continue providing sustainment services for the US Army’s AN/TSC-198A SNAP and baseband equipment, the company announced on 13 May.
The company has received additional funding of $15 million from the army on the previously announced three-year $124.2 million contract. The contract has been funded $65.6 million to date.
SNAP terminals provide quick and mobile satellite communications capabilities to personnel in the field.
Fred Kornberg, president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications, said: ‘We strive to provide the best service and support to the US Army’s mission; this additional funding confirms the commitment in that support.’
