Aydin awarded ruggedised display contract
Aydin Displays, a Sparton Corporation company, has received a contract to supply BAE Systems with ruggedised flat panel displays, it was announced on 26 March.
The contract, worth more than $13 million, will see Aydin Displays deliver over 600 displays for a programme supporting the US Navy.
Deliveries will take place over a two and a half year period.
Jim Lackemacher, group VP of the engineered components and products segment of Sparton, said: ‘We are extremely pleased to be continuing our work with BAE Systems by providing product capabilities that meet or exceed its customer requirements.
'More importantly, to provide the company with the performance, quality, and value of our products to help meet the critical mission needs for our customers.’
