AFA 2012: USAF lays out ISR future
The US Air Force's (USAF's) deputy chief of staff for ISR, Lt Gen Larry James, gave delegates at the Air Force Association's Air & Space conference a picture of current capabilities and future requirements.
According to James, USAF ISR is a worldwide enterprise that focuses on getting the 'right data and the right information to the right people'. As a part of that the USAF is in the process of carrying out a review of capabilities and needs for the secretary of the air force.
Part of that is review looks at how the US strategic shift towards the Pacific
