9th Reconnaissance Wing commander receives new assignment
Brig. Gen. Robert P. Otto, 9th Reconnaissance Wing commander, has been selected to become the new director of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Capabilities for the Deputy Chief of Staff of ISR, at the Pentagon in Washington D.C.
"ISR plays such a vital role in today's fight - I'm looking forward to helping shape the future of ISR. We need to focus on achieving more synergy between collection and exploitation, and my Beale experience has helped me to better understand the issues," said General Otto.
General Otto will hand over command to Col. Paul H. McGillicuddy, the current chief of the Program Intergrations Division, Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Programs, in a change of command ceremony scheduled for 9:00 a.m. April 2, 2010 here at Beale.
