Pentagon seeks to expand weapons sales
Working with partner nations throughout the weapon’s development process will be a key enabler for the US to ramp up weapons’ sales to the international market.
During ComDefense 2018 on 5 September, an array of service leaders and think tank analysts met to discuss US security cooperation agreements and ways to accelerate the US foreign military sales (FMS) timeline.
‘History shows that those who go to war with their allies and partners prevail, and this is what differentiates us from our key adversaries,’ Ellen Lord (pictured), the Pentagon’s undersecretary for acquisition and sustainment told the audience.
