Opinion: Another year of instability amid Middle Eastern power plays
The new decade has opened, quite literally, with a bang. The drone strike by the US military on 3 January to kill the head of the Iranian Quds force, Qasem Soleimani, has once again forced global attention onto an unstable Middle East.
