Indo Defence 2018: Vietnam premiers home-grown industry
Vietnam looks to have used Indo Defence 2018 in Jakarta as a launch venue to showcase a wide range of products and platforms produced by its growing industrial capability.
The showcase comprised of Viettel Group, a telecommunication company, VDI, the management agency under the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and GAET, a military industry cooperation.
While this is the first international trade show the country has had a presence at, attendance at future events will be determined by the MoD following the results from Indo Defence, a spokesperson told Shephard.
