IDEF 2015: Gunship solution heading for Italian SF
A six-barrelled variant of Oto Melara’s 20mm Gatling Gunship system for cargo aircraft is destined for the Italian Special Forces.
Roberto Rossi, project manager at the company, told reporters at the IDEF exhibition in Istanbul that although there are no orders yet there is a requirement for six Gunship systems that will be fitted to the Italian Air Force C-27J aircraft to provide a gunship capability.
