IDEF 2015: First view of Teber laser guidance kit
Roketsan has put its Teber-81 and Teber-82 laser guidance kits on show for the first time at the IDEF exhibition in Istanbul.
The new generation Teber system is a laser guided kit (LGK) that is compatible with Mk-81 (250lb) and Mk-82 (500lb) general-purpose bombs, with an inertial navigation system (INS) and GPS.
According to Roketsan, the system has been designed with different versions in order to increase the probability of hits, and particularly effectiveness against moving targets.
The company hinted that there has been interest from the Gulf States in the system.
