Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services-North America (Vector), one of the world's leading independent providers of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services has established a business office in Daleville, Alabama--adjacent to Fort Rucker Army Airfield in a strategic move to enhance support of existing and potential future maintenance, repair and overhaul support for the US Army and Army Fleet Support (AFS).
Ronnie Kearns, Vector's director of business development - military programs explains locating the office in close proximity to Fort Rucker is a direct outcome of Vector's long-term plan to build upon its ability to provide best-in-class maintenance, repair and overhaul support to defence operators including the US Army and Navy, as well as defence and security agencies from around the world. "Establishing a permanent Vector Aerospace office near Fort Rucker enables us to be more proactive and responsive to our customer's requirements. At Vector, our utmost priority is to provide complete customer satisfaction, and this includes being completely accessible to our customers at their convenience to address any details that might arise. Our new location enables us to enhance our customer contact and increase the flow of two-way communications; elements that are essential to improving overall customer satisfaction and value."
In October of 2009, Vector was awarded a subcontract to perform the plastic media strip, aircraft inspection and painting of twenty-five TH-67 helicopters operating out of the Fort Rucker Army Airfield. In addition, Vector was granted approval to complete aircraft structural overhauls on two heavily damaged TH-67 helicopters at its Andalusia, Alabama repair and overhaul facility.
