Singapore displays modified Chinooks

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) displayed its latest modifications to its Boeing CH-47SD Chinooks at an open house at Paya Lebar Air Base on 21-22 May.

The example featured new antennae and fairings for radar warning receivers (RWR) of unidentified origin, chaff and flare mountings, and a dome mounted on the left mid-fuselage. The latter likely houses a secure data link such as the Satellite Tactical Digital Information Link (S-TADIL) or similar.
