Germany to send WS-61 Westland Sea King helicopters to Ukraine
Germany has committed to sending Ukraine six of its 21 retiring WS-61 Westland Sea King multirole, amphibious helicopters.
Russian Army inducts four Mi-24 helicopters
A newly-formed army aviation brigade of the Russian Army stationed in Sverdlovsk region of the Central Military District has inducted four Mi-24 attack helicopters into service, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced on 28 March.
The combat helicopters will be used to perform tasks as part of flight exercises, including tactical exercises from company to brigade level.
The helicopter is capable of flight in all light and weather conditions.
