Iranian heliport receives Bell 214s (gallery)

The second air base/heliport of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard of Corps (IRGCAA), named Seyyed al-Shahada, was officially established during a ceremony on 4 July 2017 and aircraft were delivered shortly after the opening.

The event took place almost 18 months after the army aviation branch of IRGC was created further to an order by Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic regime of Iran, on 20 February 2016.
