Ka-52 first export deliveries set for 2017

Russian Helicopters plans to begin export deliveries of the Ka-52 coaxial rotor attack helicopters in 2017. The launch export customer for the type is Egypt, with a contract for 46 signed with Rosoboronexport, Russia’s monopolist arms export agent.

It is expected that no fewer than 12 Ka-52s will be delivered to Egypt in 2017, while the Russian MoD will take 12 to 13 more, intended for both the Russian Air and Space Force and the Russian Naval Aviation Service.
