BAE Systems is seeing growing interest in the military rotorcraft domain for a new range of cyber defence systems, with both new and legacy platforms target markets for the defence prime.
The company announced a range of new cyber defence capabilities for aircraft in late 2017. These focused on technologies in a range of broad areas, including intrusion detection, system analysis and reverse engineering.
Currently, BAE Systems is in conversations with a number of manufacturers over these technologies, said Dave Woolrich, programme manager for cyber warning at BAE Systems, although he could not provide further details at this stage.
