Heli-Expo 2013: Sikorsky reveals S97 price tag

Sikorsky has placed a $15 million price tag on its S97 Raider, as it attempts to convince the US Army that the aircraft is a low-risk replacement for the Kiowa Warrior.

Speaking at the Heli-Expo exhibition in Las Vegas on 5 March, Sikorsky president Mick Maurer said as the Armed Aerial Scout (AAS) programme has progressed, the company has increased in confidence that its X2 technology-based solution may be viable.
