Heli-Expo 2013: Eurocopter provides details on Tiger crashes

Lutz Bertling, president and chief executive officer of Eurocopter, reviewed ongoing military activities and recent operational crashes involving the Tiger attack helicopter at the Heli-Expo exhibition.

Bertling said that the company’s military activities were ‘mainly about deployment; about getting helicopters in a combat environment; and showing that they are combat proven’.

‘French Tigers have been in Somalia. They have been in Libya. They have been in Afghanistan. And they are now in Mali,’ he said.
