First Belgian NH90 delivered
Belgium’s first NH90 Tactical Transport Helicopter (TTH) was handed over by NHIndustries during a ceremony in Marseille-Marignane on 21 December.
The helicopter had been completed according to Full Operational Capability (FOC) specifications on the French production line before delivery and performed its first flight on 18 September.
It is the first of four NH90 TTHs on order and will be based at Beauvechain air base, home of the 1st Helicopter Wing of the Belgian Air Component, in the near future. According to a recent Belgian Ministry of Defence statement, two more NH90 TTHs will be delivered in 2013 and the
