Germany to send WS-61 Westland Sea King helicopters to Ukraine
Germany has committed to sending Ukraine six of its 21 retiring WS-61 Westland Sea King multirole, amphibious helicopters.
AgustaWestland has selected Wynnwith Technical Services to provide technical staff and engineers in support of AgustaWestland’s depth maintenance activities at Wattisham Airfield, the British Army’s main Apache AH Mk1 operating base and Depth Support Unit (DSU).
Wynnwith will partner with AgustaWestland to ensure the workforce is best placed to meet the key Apache Integrated Operational Support requirements of increased aircraft availability and reduced through life costs. Wynnwith’s agreement with AgustaWestland, will run in parallel with the prime Apache IOS contract which has an initial period to March 2014.
