Sukhoi prepares for Su-57 deliveries
Sukhoi Corporation plans to start deliveries this year of its Su-57 fifth-generation fighter for the Russian Aerospace Forces despite the December 2019 crash of a test aircraft during a training flight near Khabarovsk, company representatives told Shephard.
The crash of the test Su-57 has delayed deliveries, which were scheduled to begin in late 2019 under a long-term contract for 76 aircraft. The deal was signed last year and is believed to be worth more than RUB150 billion ($2 billion).
