Eurosatory 2012: European customer orders IAI Tamam GTADS sensor package

IAI Tamam has announced that it has received an order from an undisclosed European customer for its Ground Target Acquisition and Designation System (GTADS) sensor package.

'We finally have a customer with a leading European country and we're soon going to deliver this system with an option to add the laser designator,' Igal Mevorach, director of marketing for systems missiles and space group for IAI Tamam told Shephard during the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris, France on 11 June.

'We think this is a very good combination of a system, not just for fighting, but for observation,’ he added.
