Singapore Airshow: Milrem looks east

Amidst cooperation with a Singaporean entity, the Estonian company Milrem exhibited its Tracked Hybrid Modular Infantry System (THeMIS) unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) at the Singapore Airshow.

Milrem, which was established in 2013, said the UGV ‘can assist and replace soldiers on the battlefield in complex and hazardous tasks’.

ST Kinetics is providing a remote-controlled weapon station (RWS) for installation aboard the THeMIS, a multi-mission tracked platform.

An Adder RWS L50 (a .50-cal machine gun) or Adder RWS L40/762 (a 40mm automatic grenade launcher and 7.62mm machine gun combination) are available. An Adder RWS adds about 350kg of weight
