Singapore Airshow: Jungle penetrating optics considered for region

Aeronautics could consider the development of jungle penetrating optical payloads for their Orbiter 2 UAV for customers in the Asia Pacific region.

In 2014 the company unveiled the upgraded 2B version of the platform, following lessons learned from the operational use of the original model. More than 1,000 Orbiter 2s have been delivered to customers worldwide.

Dany Eshchar, deputy CEO for marketing and sales, told Shephard that options for the future could include developments specific to customers in the region.
