Farnborough 2016: Thales launches Fulmar X (video)

After four years of research and development and a contract signed with the Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) this year, Thales is moving forward with its Fulmar small UAV.

At this year’s Farnborough International Airshow, the French manufacturer launched the next evolution of the platform, known as the Fulmar X

The UAS – which can be used in both commercial and military roles – has an endurance of over 8 hours and an operating range of 80km.
