Tekever is continuing to develop the AR5 Life Ray Evolution UAS for a future requirement by the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) for an unmanned maritime surveillance capability.

As revealed by Shephard last month, the EMSA tender is for the procurement of the UAV to assist with its data and information gathering efforts, with the intention to expand its range of unmanned capabilities in the future. The system would be manufacture-operated for EMSA.

Potential UAS activities include monitoring emission controls among maritime users and fishing vessel movements, among others.
