ITEC 2016: T-BOS for Mexican Navy

The Mexican Navy has ordered a Transportable Blackhawk Operations Simulator (T-BOS) from Rockwell Collins.

The foreign military sales (FMS) procurement is valued at just over $12 million and was contracted through the US Army Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEOSTRI) in Orlando, Florida.

The TBOS will be used to train the Mexican Navy’s Sikorsky UH-60M crews. Three aircraft are understood to have been in service with the first delivered in 2011. A further seven aircraft were ordered from Sikorsky in April 2016 under the terms of a $55 million FMS deal.
