Bohemia Interactive Simulations (BISim) is seeking to further develop usage of its VBS4 system into existing users of its VBS3 architecture following the announcement of the first military and industry customers.
Breaking the news during I/ITSEC in Orlando, the first customers were named as the Swedish Armed Forces and Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace. In addition, US-based civil SAR training company Priority 1 Air Rescue has also subsequently opted to utilise VBS4.
It is understood that many of Kongsberg’s existing customers also operate BISim’s VBS3 system.
