I/ITSEC 2015: Thinking outside the D-Box (video)

An immersive driver and gunnery simulator that is deployable in a standard ISO container is on display at this year’s I/ITSEC.

Quebec-based D-Box, a developer of motion platforms, has collaborated with several companies on the device, including Esterline for the visual displays, LaserShot for the gunnery equipment and Bohemia Interactive for the visualisation software.

The prototype presented at I/ITSEC is configured for naval operations, but can also be used as a ground vehicle trainer.
