I/ITSEC 2015: BISim closing on US Army deal

Bohemia Interactive Simulations (BISim) is preparing to finalise a deal with the US Army on data and image gathering via UAV, with a contract announcement expected in the near future.

 

The project will provide the army with terrain and virtual environments of a greater detail and fidelity than currently available.

 

Technology developed by the company will render high-fidelity images into 3D representations for its Virtual BattleSpace (VBS) gaming software. This will provide capabilities that are instrumental to training, such as 3D mapping.
