RSSHeliOperations is now delivering SAR training to the German Navy from its new UK facility in Portland, Dorset.
The company, which specialises in commercial, SAR, maritime and military operating roles and training, has a team comprising ex-UK service helicopter instructor pilots.
To provide the training to Germany, HeliOperations is utilising the Westland Sea King Mk 5 helicopter, on lease from the UK RN. The aircraft is flown under military regulations and the aircrew are all former UK RN SAR pilots.
