DSEI 2019: Gentex presents USSOCOM solution to international audience
Gentex Corporation promoted the USSOCOM’s latest combat helmet techology to the international special operations forces (SOF) community at DSEI 2019.
The FAST SF Super High Cut Helmet System, selected to support USSOCOM’s Special Operations Forces Personal Equipment Advanced Requirements (SPEAR) Family of Tactical Headborne Systems (FTHS) programme, was exhibited at the London event between 9-13 September.
Manufactured using a carbon composite, the combat helmet was displayed with its low profile ballistic applique kit; as well as STEP-IN Visor (compatible for night vision goggles); carbon composite mandible attachment; as well as Gentex Corporation’s AMP communication headset.
