Unwanted – one forward repair ship, two careful owners
The intended sale of the UK Royal Fleet Auxiliary’s (RFA’s) former repair and marine logistics vessel Diligence has again been extended, following the apparent failure to secure a contract award in Q4 2019.
As reported last year, the vessel has struggled to attract suitors since it was put up for sale in 2016. An earlier attempt to secure the sale of Diligence offered interested parties to tour the vessel at its location at Portsmouth Naval Base, with an invitation to tender sent out in Q2 2019 ahead of further viewing in Q3 2019.
