UK Ministry of Defence Police to get new patrol craft for naval bases
The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has invited a number of UK-based companies to tender RfP’s for the procurement of up to 20 police patrol craft to be used by the MoD Police (MDP) and Gibraltar Defence Police (GDP).
The original Pre-Qualification Questionnaire ran between June and August 2018, with results being issued in December 2018. Tender entry will close in January 2020, with the contract – valued at up to £30 million ($38 million) – due to start in December 2020 and run through to the end of July 2025.
