New weapon and radars appear on Beykoz
Shephard has observed a new set of radars and a new gun aboard a Burak class Turkish Navy corvette.
The legacy 100mm/55 Mod 68 CADAM automatic gun on TCG Beykoz has been replaced by an unknown subtype of the Oto-Melara 76mm gun.
Furthermore, the original Thomson-CSF made DRBV-15A surveillance and DRBC-32E fire control radars were replaced respectively by the Aselsan-made MAR-D and AKR-D systems.
