Nexter sells NARWHAL to Albania
French company Nexter has signed a contract with the Albanian Navy to supply it with four NARWHAL 20mm remotely operated turrets, the company announced.
The turrets will equip Albania’s fleet of four Damen Stan Patrol 4207 coastal patrol boats which until now were devoid of any heavy armament. In addition to the turrets, Nexter says that it will also provide Albania with 20mm ammunition and maintenance tooling.
